I LOVE the Christmas season!! A season of giving, laughing, loving and food! It really is the “Most Wonderful Time of the Year”!!

Our winters here are COLD..really, really COLD. I mean that with every fiber of my being. Anyway, a nice cup of hot coffee, tea or chocolate is ALWAYS available at my house. Yummmm….. I thought I’d get a head start on this year’s cards. So, without further ado, meet my shabby friend…

 

Isn’t she lovely??? Ah, I so love this color pallet by My Mind’s Eye. The paper stack is called Sugar Plum. It’s Totally Awesome!!!! This card is 5×5 square. I used a demask embossing folder for the majority of the card. I added a little strip of the patterned paper to the bottom to help tell it apart from the card base. I hand cut some tags and a banner to add some interest at the top. I added hole reinforcers to the tags and made a cute little bow in the center.  A really pretty Prima flower rounds out the look.

The Christmas sentiment is from Recollections and is stamped with black Momento ink – both are from Michaels.  I LOVE how this card came out!!
