Hey Newbies!!! Ready for ‘YOUR’ swap??? This is the time you’ve been waiting for. The time where you tell yourself to GET UP AND CREATE! Don’t think twice, don’t hesitate, don’t second guess – YOU CAN DO THIS!!!

What is the worse that can happen? You get your swap back and everyone else did better? (been there. next.) You realize that you needed to do more? (been there. next.) You’ve decided that you aren’t going to play anymore? (been there. next) I mean this can go on and on and on.. I’ve done or thought ALL of these things – I DID NOT QUIT!

What I did do was go back to the drawing board. I started binge watching my favorite crafters and learning how to do what they did. I watched tutorials on things I wanted to learn. I google “how to” everything! I honed in on my style of crafting and made what I learned my own. Fast forward to today.. Yes, I still have a lot I want to learn – I do not know it all. I say all of this to say – you just don’t wake up and be the best crafter you want to be – there is a journey you must take to get there. Be Encouraged.

Ok, now that the PEP TALK is over and you are ready to play.. Let’s get to it!! You have to watch this video before you sign up! Its is also where you sign up for the swap. There is a tutorial included in the swap – to help if you don’t have all the tools – yet. I say ‘yet’ because you will 😉

Wouldn’t it be cool to have little pieces of art collected from other like-minded crafty people and handmade embellishments on hand to use when you need to? Once the embellishments have been used – you still have something someone else created for you to enjoy. Yeah? Well, let’s just SWAP THAT!

Let’s jump right into the rules…Shall we???

• You must CHOOSE a theme : SHABBY CHIC OR CLEAN & SIMPLE
• You will be in groups in 4 – so make and send 3 individual sets
• You must package in a handmade envelope (see tutorial) If you are using your punch board – use the size mentioned in the video
• Your envelope must include an eyelet or hole punched with reinforcer
• Your envelope must be decorated
• You must include a set of 4 Teeny Tiny 2″ Embellishments (see tutorial and swaps for inspiration)
• You may include goodies for your group members – they are not required
• Please package each set individually and in pretty packaging
• Do YOUR best work
